We aim to provide homebuyers all around NZ with great tools for finding property and getting in touch with agents, and we offer agents a reliable online listing tool that promotes enquiry to their own website or mobile phone.

There are other property websites, how is seeproperty.co.nz useful to me?

Yes there are a number of real estate websites in NZ however we are the only site that considers it paramount to refer as many leads and prospects through to our clients as possible. Seeproperty.co.nz focuses on having the most up-to-date property information with more regular data feeds per day than other property websites. We also only display 3 photos per property, linking all further enquiry directly through to your own agency website.

Are there any private sellers on seeproperty.co.nz?

No, we understand that real estate salespeople work hard to build their network of buyers and sellers and to let private sellers ride off the back of agents listing information is not in the best interests of the agent or indeed the buyer. Under the recent Real Estate Agents Act of 2008 buyers are guaranteed certain protections when buying through an agent that they are not afforded if buying privately.

What is the 214 text service?

The 214 text service is a revolutionary communication system running off openhometimes.co.nz which allows prospective buyers to enquire for the next open home on a listing by texting the property ref number to our short code 214. It also allows buyers to request to view a property, enquire about properties similar to one you may have just sold and it even automatically updates all buyers that have text enquired about an open home if you cancel or change that open home.

By using your own mobile you can even cancel the next upcoming open home for a property by texting 'cancel' with the property reference number eg. Send 'cancel ABC1234' to 214 and the next open home will be cancelled on seeproperty.co.nz and a text alert sent to anyone who has text enquired for that open home. You can only cancel open homes for your own listings from your mobile phone.

Sounds great! Can I get my hands on the buyers mobile phone number?

Yes, if they send a 'view' enquiry through to 214 for one of your properties we will forward their mobile number to you in an instant text message direct to your mobile phone with the relevant property address. General open home enquiries remain anonymous.

Why would I use the 214 text service instead of open home slashes on my signboards?

Having the 214 text service on your signboards means you'll never have to run around every week placing your open home slashes. Interested parties simply text in for the time and receive the next scheduled open home time for that property. Your signboard will always be up-to-date and it works as an excellent enquiry tool on properties with open homes as well as properties that have no open homes scheduled.

By texting in for the open home the buyer will also have a record of the address and time of the next open home plus your name and mobile phone number, making it easy for them to recall the information if they need it later.

Why would I use the 214 text service on my print media or on another website?

For similar reasons as having it on your signboard and because it also allows you to update prospective buyers of any changes to an upcoming open home.
